April's New Moon Sunrise Hike

Palisades-Reclama

By the time April rolls around, the snow on the Palisades will have melted allowing us to hike down to the Hudson River from the Stateline Lookout point where we’ll watch the sunrise over the New York skyline view from the Jersey side with some hibiscus tea in hand.

About the trail: (Moderate) The trail starts off from the top and then we’ll work our way down the Palisades where we’ll see the Peanut Leap Cascade. The steps can be a bit steep so please note, this hike is not for beginners. You must have recent experience hiking, hiking boots and a flash light or headlamp.

Mood: Adventurous considering it’s an early hike but it will be worth it. You’ll walk away feeling so damn accomplished for committing to filling up your cup before noon.
