Our Health is Our Wealth Nature Walk (Central Park)

Join us for a two-part event in honor of Financial Literacy Month! We’re bringing money conversations out of the spreadsheets and into real life—starting with a virtual watch party and ending with a powerful, grounding walk through Central Park.

Since launching Hay Dinero in 2023, I've been inspired by all the ways we've been rethinking money—tackling money traumas, budgeting joyfully, managing debt without guilt, and even taking a closer look at retirement.

  • On Thursday, April 10, join me on Zoom for a Hay Dinero Watch Party as we revisit the series and share some fresh updates.

  • Then, on Saturday, April 12 from 12–3pm, meet me in Central Park for our “Our Health is Our Wealth Nature Walk.” We'll get into what we learned from the series, swap book recommendations, and reclaim our relationship with money in community.

About the nature walk: This isn’t just about a stroll—it’s a chance to dive into real talk about money in a supportive community. No experience necessary; we'll take it slow, hug some trees, snap a few photos, and kick back on some rocks for a little reflection, all while reclaiming our relationship with money together.

1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Replenish + Guided Journaling on our Relationship with Money

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Walk back/Closing circle

WHY HIKE?

It boosts endorphins, reduces stress and helps keep you present. By allowing ourselves to be unapologetically spiritual in a place like the outdoors, we honor and affirm how we take up space in the world.

WHY JOURNAL?

The peace you get from being out on a hike naturally leads to personal reflection because your mind is super clear and you’re tapped into your highest self. Writing in this state is a powerful way to connect with yourself and what you want out of life. Once the pen hits the paper, anything is possible.
