The Ponte Pilas New Moon Hike w/ Poetic Black Gurl

Bundle up because we’re going to Bear Mountain in honor of the New Moon. This hike is for those looking for an energizing lift in their soul. Which is exactly why it felt so right to collaborate with oratory artist, writer, painter, and occasional sculptor Andrea Augustus, A.K.A. Poetic Black Gurl, a New York artist with over 6 years of performance experience will also give away 15 journals to the first 15 hikers!

Andrea explores many artistic mediums in the name of healing and creating through Poetic Black Gurl LLC, a black woman-owned business that specializes in personal development. Services include creative workshops centered around mental health and art. Poetic Black Gurl is dedicated to offering creative outlets for individuals to begin or continue their journey of healing and self-expression.

For our hike, we’ll be sharing original journal musings around the theme of "Healing." Look forward to 5-7 minutes of reading as well as invitations for hikers to share their individual journal entries, notes, letters, or just thoughts.
