End January on top of Overlook Mountain in the Catskills with us!
About the trail: (Moderate) The Overlook Mountain Trail is said to be one of the most popular hikes in the Catskills. But what really caught my eye was how nature has reclaimed an abandoned hotel on the trail. The mountain backdrop is going to be worth the trek up. Check this blog out if you want a play by play. Plus, the trail is only 15 minutes away from Woodstock in case you want to get a bit to eat in town after the hike.
Mood: There’s no better place to be in the winter than trekking it up a mountain knowing the steady uphill trail will keep us warm. Plus, the ruins at the top are so worth it.
