Even though it will be cold outside, this hike will keep us warm! The trail is even paved in some areas but it’s the benches alongside the Black River where we’ll stop to take breaks and enjoy a little nature.
About the trail: (Beginner/Moderate) The Hacklebarney Loop Trail is a 2.1 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Long Valley, New Jersey that features a river and is rated as moderate. (via AllTrails) It’s labeled as moderate because of the big rocks there are to climb at some points.
Mood: It’s the first New Moon of the new year and it’s right before the presidential inauguration. So, let’s get it!
