Who is ready for a challenge? Because this hike is not easy at all, in fact, it’s difficult but it’s also one of the most gratifying and exhilarating views of the Hudson Valley.
About the hike: (Advanced) We’re going to hike the Breakneck Trail Loop which means that an hour of climbing through scrambles awaits us. Climbing summit after summit where the views keep getting better and better. Plus, we won’t get cold considering the hike is going to keep us moving. So, in short, if you don’t have proper hiking boots, experience hiking, and aren’t afraid of heights, then join us!
Mood: Ready to take over the world one step at a step kind of hike. It’s challenging but it’s still one of my favorite hikes. I’ve never felt more accomplished. We’ll stop at the top for a meditation session or journaling if it isn’t too cold. But definitely making time to take photos and eat our lunch.
Distance: 3 miles
Public Transportation: You can take the Metro-North Hudson line to the Cold Spring Station, then walk the remaining 1.5 to the trailhead or take an Uber/Lyft to 3258 Stearn Road, Cold Spring, NY.
